Pathways is a special type of prenatal care unique to WHA. It combines the benefits of both individualized care and group learning with the goal of leaving you as prepared as possible (you’ve totally got this!) to manage pregnancy, childbirth and infant care. During your pregnancy, you’ll have a combination of one-on-one visits and group visits with a Pathways provider—all scheduled at specific times during your pregnancy to assure the health of you and your baby.
Your one-on-one visits will focus on our favorite thing—you. During this time we’ll discuss any issues you’re having and help you make the decisions that are right for your pregnancy. Because the majority of the education and information you need will come from your group visits, your one-on-one visits are what you want to talk about, not just what you need to know.
Your group visits will focus on a variety of topics—working with your provider, you’ll choose whichever group best meets your schedule and information needs at that point in your pregnancy.
Group visit discussion topics include*:
Group visits are led by our Pathways providers and staff. Each group visit will offer information, discussion, a question/answer time and, best of all, the opportunity to take comfort in knowing that you’re not alone in this oh-so memorable experience. Each will also include a brief one-on-one chat with the provider during which we’ll check on your beautiful belly and perform other monitoring to assure the health of your pregnancy.
*Available group topics may vary at different locations.

This will allow our teams to check whether your plan may require a referral for the care you need or to prepare benefits information to share with you at your visit. If you do not enter insurance information when scheduling, you may be asked to pay a $200-$500 deposit before receiving service.
